Restore points
IRIS creates a Windows restore point before every bulk optimization (Optimize now, Apply all, Game Mode). You can also create one manually in Settings.
Revert any tweak
Every toggle tweak has a defined revert. Turn it off in the category page and IRIS restores the original setting.
Advanced tweaks
Tweaks marked Advanced (medium risk) are off by default in recommendations. Read the description before enabling.
What IRIS never does
- Disable pagefile (can cause crashes)
- Kill random critical Windows services
- RAM cleaner placebo tweaks
- Timer resolution hacks that don't work on modern Windows
